I purchased my first dslr camera at the end of August 2007 as an early birthday present to myself. Prior to my purchase, I rummaged through books at my local library, ordered books online, and searched websites trying to learn as much as I can about photography; essentially, reading anything I could get my hands on (which I still continue to do).

From what started out for me just wanting a hobby and a creative outlet, has now turned into a passion.
