Bittersweet

My stepson was home for the holidays. It had been over a year and a half since he'd been home. We had a wonderful visit. It was so great having him home again, even if it was for less than two weeks.

This photo was taken the night before he was to return to his mother's home in TN. I know he was looking forward to getting back to his life down there, but I also know it was difficult for him to leave his family up here.
