@Dimitrios: Thank you so much, Dimitrios. @Rags: Thank you. I'm really enjoying your "I Cannot Do Without:" series. Very inspiring. Jhani from Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emiratesi agree with both comments of above, really superb shot, frame, lighting 6 Mar 2008 11:35am @Jhani: Thank you, Jhani. Man With 101 Names from Hamburg, United StatesThis is excellent , one for the wall of fame for sure 6 Mar 2008 1:00pm @Man With 101 Names: Thank you. I'm glad you like it. @Eric Rousset: Thank you for taking the time to drop by, Eric. :) danthro from Suburbia, United Statesi'm going to at least temporarily give up on ranking this with the other two, but great shot. i like how this one sort of makes her look more mature and older in a way. i really like the shadows and color, and of course the background again. 6 Mar 2008 6:12pm @danthro: Thanks, danthro. I liked how her hair was nestled on her shoulder in yesterday's...other than that it's the exact same pose. But for this one, it's the background that make this work (at least for me). She'll get a kick out of being told she looks older...she's 16 so she's at an age that she still wants to look older and more mature. Jan from Bruges, BelgiumBoth the one from yesterday and this one are nice portraits. I think the one from yesterday is a cropped version of this one. The setup is good: girl on the right hand side, looking over her left shoulder, different colors in the background. 6 Mar 2008 6:22pm @Jan: Thanks for dropping by. Ron from Saint Louis, United StatesBeautiful portrait and beautiful composition, Melissa. I love the lush green against the tracks and stone. Another winner! 6 Mar 2008 6:32pm @Ron: Thank you, Ron. That's my favorite part too. :) Graham Russon from Cape Town, South AfricaYup I prefer this over yesterdays, I think the track adds to the story. The colours and composition are great 6 Mar 2008 8:09pm @Graham Russon: Thank you so much, Graham. :) Jrask from Pasadena, United StatesSeriously great shot Melissa, the capture is perfect with the tracks fading into the distance (or around the bend anyway). Overall great composition! 6 Mar 2008 8:40pm @Jrask: Thank you, Josh. :) I'm glad you like it. @Wysterior: Thank you, Wys. ;) @lasiate: Thank you. :) Gary from Cochise County, United StatesIt's all good, Melissa. If she can sing you can use this for the CD cover. 7 Mar 2008 3:43am @Gary: She has many talents, however singing isn't one of them. akarui from Kagoshima, JapanNice portrait. I like the curves perspective of the rails too. 22 Mar 2008 12:18am @akarui: Thank you so much for taking the time to look at my pblog, and for the kind words...they are very much appreciated. Your pblog is amazing, btw. You are incredibly gifted and talented. I've really enjoyed looking through your images...truly inspiring work. |
