i'm going to at least temporarily give up on ranking this with the other two, but great shot. i like how this one sort of makes her look more mature and older in a way. i really like the shadows and color, and of course the background again.

@danthro: Thanks, danthro. I liked how her hair was nestled on her shoulder in yesterday's...other than that it's the exact same pose. But for this one, it's the background that make this work (at least for me). She'll get a kick out of being told she looks older...she's 16 so she's at an age that she still wants to look older and more mature.

Both the one from yesterday and this one are nice portraits. I think the one from yesterday is a cropped version of this one. The setup is good: girl on the right hand side, looking over her left shoulder, different colors in the background.

Actually, yesterday's isn't a cropped version (look closer at her hair). I shot the one from yesterday first...I liked her pose so well, that I had her keep it there to recompose the shot.

Yup I prefer this over yesterdays, I think the track adds to the story. The colours and composition are great

Seriously great shot Melissa, the capture is perfect with the tracks fading into the distance (or around the bend anyway). Overall great composition!
