Switching gears...;)
These old cars belong to a friend of mine. Her husband collects and restores them...these are some of the leftovers. I found that photographing cars is much more challenging than it looks.
These images were taken last Thursday evening. The light was so beautiful that I didn't want to waste the opportunity.
March 2008.
Nice rear end…they don't make 'em like that anymore…okay, enough with the clichés. I do like the beautiful, voluptuous lines of thee classics, and the sturdiness of the taillights and trim are so beautifully captured here. A beautiful testament to the past, Melissa. Very nice!

@Ron: Have to say the "nice rear end" comment took me a little by surprise...good thing I wasn't drinking anything at the time. Thanks for the chuckle for two days in a row. Now if I were trying to be cheeky, I'd reply and say that if you like voluptuous lines and curves, you should check out what's in store for the next few days...but I won't. ;) Have a good day, Ron. :)
Very interesting picture Melissa. I like that you took only the rear with the other in background. It gives place to your imagination to figure the whole picture. Sorry for my French :o))) I just hope it's clear. lol

@Suzanne Labbé: Don't be sorry. Your comment was clear. :) Thank you for dropping by, and for the comment. :)
Great shot. I love the light and the colours. Proves that there lies a photographic opportunity just about anywhere.
@Sujit Sudhi: How very true. :) Thank you, Sujit.
You had stunning light, and a great location. I just love this shot. I hope you post some more.

Nice choice of shot...if it's difficult you certainly aren't showing it!

@Jrask: Wow, thanks. It was really difficult finding interesting shots. I don't know how some of these people do it... Thanks for the compliment. :)

@Will: Thanks, Will. :)
Really like the composition and, as you say, the light is terrific. I like the two cars -- one in light, the other in dark. Very nice image.

@GJC: Thank you.
I agree with GJC, having the second one in the background really makes it. Nice shot.
