The dashboard of an old International pickup truck.
These old cars belong to a friend of mine. Her husband collects and restores them...these are some of the leftovers. I found that photographing cars is much more challenging than it looks. I applaud those who make it look so easy.
March 2008.
I've been enjoying this series. I really like this one, for it's dreamy feel and the soft light. Nicely done.

So elegant in its simplicity, and the soft light and DOF add a dream-like effect to the scene. Really nice!

Looks like you might be shooting through the window. Is that the reflection of an old blue car behind you. I like the old Internationals. I had a 1977 International Harvester Scout II with the 345cu in (yes back in the day of cubic inches). I really enjoyed it even though it was rusting away. Anyway, nice shot. I like the natural light that appears to be coming through some broken glass.

@Bonj: Yes, this is shot through the window...I wanted to get a shot without the window, but I really liked how the reflection added a bit of interest so I kept it. Thanks, Bonj.
and so we move inside. very nice; i really like this photographic endeavor of yours. well done..

Melissa, because it was taken through the window, it gives to the picture an "older and soft effect" that I love". Great picture, as usual :o)

Wow, leave you alone for 1 day and you post the best one yet in the series. I love the reflection in this. The light is perfect and you have filled the photo with the subject. Great work Melissa.

Reminds me of Wallace's and Gromit's dashboard.

Awesome shot! Lighting is simply perfect, those knobs are great, the light brings out the texture of the corrosion, and the slight reflection in the window just adds to the look. The shifter makes a great point of interest as well. This is my favorite as well, Well done!
