Pomegranate

This was shot in my dining room with natural light. We had snow back then so it acted like a huge reflector; it really made the light more beautiful.

Magnificent. It looks like an orb with great and noble stories to tell. The DOF and soft complementary colors are very well done.

Beautiful, Melissa ... the colors are so warm and rich ... and that beautiful natural light is the best! I was just viewing your collected work with the new PicLens feature ... it's really great to be able to move through time and space and a lens in such a beautiful, fluid way. Great composition. The pomegranate adds great texture and a luxurious red that contrasts nicely with the warm wood.

It looks almost like some exotic pottery! And agreed on the wonderful light on a snowy day : the silence and the light make up for the cold.
