Ron from Saint Louis, United StatesBeautiful rich, warm tones, Melissa. The detail is terrific and the composition is super ... the wheel is definitely the star of this show! 9 Apr 2008 3:25pm Jrask from Pasadena, United StatesI agree with Ron, wonderful tones! very nicely done. 9 Apr 2008 4:39pm MaryB from Staffordshire, United KingdomI'm with the above comments the, warm tones and textures are wonderful Melissa. 9 Apr 2008 4:46pm chakrapani from Hyderabad, IndiaAhh ! I like the antiqueness of the snap. Good one. Did you try vignetting ? I believe it would add to the overall feeling of antiquity. The wheel draws my attention and I see it to be the central subject.....there is a conflict .. my eyes are also uncomfortably drawn to the right half of the axle and the rusted hooks. 9 Apr 2008 6:11pm @chakrapani: Thank you very much for the comment. Actually, there is a slight vignette...it was darker, but I wasn't sure of it so I backed off the opacity. Sometimes you just never know... Anyway, thank you very much. I really appreciate your insight. sithenah from Greater Manchester/Cheshire, United KingdomI love the textures here and the rusted hooks are the subject for me rather than the wheel itself. 9 Apr 2008 7:43pm Graham Russon from Cape Town, South AfricaLovely rustic shot, the colours are really great. Composition is exceptionally good. Like Chakrapani's suggestion on vignetting. 9 Apr 2008 7:55pm standley from brou-sur-chantereine, FranceWow, I love this. The tones are so warm.
