This is what it really looks like. There was a storm approaching, so it made for very dramatic clouds.
They've done a beautiful job of restoring this old gem, and you've captured it beautifully. Getting the shot with the trees bare really helps one to appreciate the beauty of this frame structure. A shot in full-green of summer and, then, autumn would be nice follow-ups ... just planting a seed ...

@Ron: Note very well taken. I'll see what I can do. ;) Thanks, Ron.
A much cleaner, more modern shot. This could honestly be a post card. Either shot would work. Your composition is spot on. This is such an amazing building. Is it a hotel, or is it condos?

Both yesterday's and today's images (especially in contrast) are beautiful, and you're right the clouds add to the overall composition. Well done!

I really like both of them. Great contrast here!

Wow, you did a great job on processing the previous shot. This is nice, but I prefer the history and historical look of the previous.

I like today's, but it really showcases your ,asterful post-processing work of yesterday...

This has a great feel to it to. Yesterdays was a bit more on the dramatic side. Both are wonderful.

great shot again. i am not sure about this one versus the previous one. flipping between them i think the previous one emphasizes the light and architecture more and looks more dramatic, but i love the sky in this one, very beautiful in color.
