Excellent choice on your processing, here, Melissa. The wash of brown gives some subtle color to last year's leaves still hanging on that big tree in the left background. The clarity and detail on the Dalton stone are terrific ... at F/3.2 I would have thought the background would have been softer. Nevertheless, I like this image ... respectful and dignified without being macabre.

@Ron: I was actually a little surprised with the results of the f/3.2 also. Anyone who knows me knows that I'm not into the macabre and the last thing I would ever want to be is disrespectful, so I'm glad that came out in this.
I did try something different with my processing. I used Lightroom to process my RAW file then finished editing it in CS2. I would love to use LR more, but it runs so slow on my Mac PowerPC G4 that I just end up using Adobe Camera Raw and CS2.
Wonderful shot. I just love cemetary shots...the tombstones and grave markers are so unique and interesting. Nicely done

@Jen: thank you so much, Jen. :)
I agree that your choice of processing was right on. So was the DOF. Nice work again Melissa.

Cemeteries --the old ones at least-- are one of my favorite places for photography. In addition to the photographic elements there is often a very palpable sense of history there.

@Twelvebit: I couldn't agree more with you. As always, thank you. :)
