This is my attempt at a Will inspired image. I processed this in Lightroom and CS2.

Very cool, Melissa. The processing is terrific and your composition is great! (I, too, am a fan of Will's work and processing techniques.) I like the look of isolation and loneliness conveyed in the compo and your terrific sepia work.

love the processing on this one (as well as the composition); beleive it or not, i've never been to lake michigan! i keep telling myself that i'll throw the kids in the car some day...

@paulski: You've seriously never been?! Oh my gosh, you've got to go! Actually, this was only my second time to Lake Michigan, first time for the dunes. Forget the Indiana dunes and go directly to the Michigan dunes (Warren Dunes)...it's only another 30 minutes anyway. You won't be disappointed. You also should check out New Buffalo, MI (it's right before the dunes)...it's a great cute old harbor town.
