In one of the books I'm currently reading, "Understanding Shutter Speed" by Bryan Peterson, there's a section called Painting With Shutter Speed that I found really interesting.
Out of the many experimental exposures, I found a couple images that I actually liked...here's one of them.
BTW, this is a redbud tree.
i'm actually reading the same book (well, kind of; that and 20 other books...), but i haven't gotten to this chapter yet. nice effect...

I see your branching out. I just got back into town and I see you are doing some more wonderful portraits too. At least you are consistant. I hope you have been well. I'll only be here for a day or two but will check out your posts while I am. Take care.

@Gary: Hey Gary! Thanks for taking the time to visit. It's always good to hear from you. Yeah, I'm trying to learn some new techniques...thanks for noticing. I can be a little resistant to change sometimes, so I'm forcing myself to try new things. lol I've been doing alright, been busy though, but can't complain. :) Sounds like you're off to a busy season. Be safe. Hope to hear from you soon. Thanks again! :)
cool. it looks like an exploding (or is it imploding?) flower :)
