Yellow Rose

We made it back in one piece! We had a great time, but boy does it feel good to be back home. I can't believe how fast the time went. We saw a lot, but there's definitely a lot more to see. Since Anthony will be attending Univ. of Memphis, I'm sure this won't be our last trip.

We visited the Memphis Botanic Garden, The Dixon Gallery and Gardens, Mud Island River Park, and took in the sights and sounds of Beale Street on a Saturday night.

This photo was taken at the rose garden at Memphis Botanic Garden. Shortly after arriving a thunderstorm popped up so we waited inside the building for it to pass. I love yellow roses and I love water droplets, so I couldn't wait to get out there once the storm passed.

Anyway, it's great to be back. I'm anxious to catch up with everyone and look forward to seeing what I've missed over the last few days.
