@paulski: Don't worry, I won't say a thing. ;)
not bad at all. but i agree that yours was better--softer light, and colors and slightly better frame. the pattern on the table is kind of cool too, but the way it's framed here and with all the reflections on it, it pulls my eye out of the frame a bit too much. but still good, i'd be happy if i could pull off this shot.

@danthro: You don't give yourself enough credit. :)
Thats pretty good, he should get his own camera and blog.

@Graham Russon: I think he'd actually enjoy it, but unfortunately he and the computer don't get along. I did buy him a camera a few months ago (Canon XTi) and he's been reading some of the books I have lying around and trying to learn Manual mode. He has no interest in learning how to process his images, so I've been trying to process some and set up a flickr site for him.
This is great, love the colours and reflection.

@MaryB: Thanks Mary. :)
Thanks for posting it Melissa. A more classic shot than yours but I like it very much. Interesting to see a different approach!

@standley: Thanks! I'll be sure and pass your comment along to him. :)
I like yours better. I don't think this is bad but the composition seems a little unbalanced to me ---on the top heavy side.
