Red Barn

So, my husband, James, and I walked nine holes of golf this past Monday. I don't play golf, but tagged along and brought my camera. The evening was absolutely perfect, temperature in the mid-70's, low humidity, and a light breeze.

The course where he played is only a few miles down the road. Instead of having huge sprawling homes as found around some of the other courses in the area, this one is nestled around cornfields, barns, and such. My kind of course.

On another note, my husband played his personal best round of golf. He shot par for nine holes, 36. He excitedly told me that I had just witnessed and documented an historical event, one that we may not see the likes of again. I had to chuckle. Apparently, I will be spending more time walking the golf courses with him, per his request. ;)
