Ronnie 2¢ from London, United Kingdom1/500th second of exploding contact . . what a lovely shot ! 17 Aug 2008 11:35am paulski from Muncie, IN, United Statesexcellent action shot here; love the suspended grass... 17 Aug 2008 3:54pm Richard_Irwin from Belper, United KingdomTerrific quick capture, excellent timing, good work. 17 Aug 2008 8:01pm danthro from Suburbia, United Statescool! i like the shallow DOF and focus on the exploding grass. and i also like the exploding grass. nice vignette and color too. 18 Aug 2008 7:17pm Ron from Saint Louis, United StatesReally cool, Melissa ... I love the action capture ... just terrific!! You must have been lying on your belly to get this ... it was well worth it!! 19 Aug 2008 2:23am @Ron: I was lying on my belly for the majority of these shots. I'm sure I looked pretty silly, and the other golfers around us probably wondered what I was doing. Oh well...:) GJC from Kyoto, JapanVery cool. I like the grass, too, and also that big blue ball (?) on the right. Really adds interest. 20 Aug 2008 12:46pm Edward James from Derry, United StatesThat golf ball is massive!!!! This almost doesn't even look like a real photo. I say this in a good way of course. Someone wrote that it looks "..abstract" and they're right. The focus on the floating grass is so crisp. Again, great timing. 20 Aug 2008 10:00pm @Edward James: That blue ball isn't the golf ball...it's the men's tees...if I remember correctly, the women's tees were red. Yeah, I was just clicking away hoping to get something worthwhile...the swing is so fast that it's hard to tell what you got until you look at the display. Thanks! Michael from Melbourne, Australiarule of 3rds perfectly exploited....great composition.great lighting.great timing.great shot. :-) 5 Sep 2008 2:55am |
