@Ron: I was lying on my belly for the majority of these shots. I'm sure I looked pretty silly, and the other golfers around us probably wondered what I was doing. Oh well...:)

Very cool. I like the grass, too, and also that big blue ball (?) on the right. Really adds interest.
And isn't it amazing what we'll do for our spouse? But somehow I gotta think that shooting the exploding grass was not part of your assignment!

That golf ball is massive!!!! This almost doesn't even look like a real photo. I say this in a good way of course. Someone wrote that it looks "..abstract" and they're right. The focus on the floating grass is so crisp. Again, great timing.

@Edward James: That blue ball isn't the golf ball...it's the men's tees...if I remember correctly, the women's tees were red. Yeah, I was just clicking away hoping to get something worthwhile...the swing is so fast that it's hard to tell what you got until you look at the display.
