Is that a happenin' place?

@Jennifer Hatcher: I've heard that it used to be quite the "happenin'" place back in the 70's during it's heyday (good food, good live bands, dancing). I personally haven't been in that place in over 10 yrs...all I remember was that it was dark, loud, dingy, smoke-filled, sprinkled with some colorful local characters...basically, your typical average bar. :)

Nice neautral colors. I've noticed you're shooting more vertical compositions than usual. I like!

@Edward James: It's been more than 10yrs since I was last in that place. I used to have a friend that played guitar in a country band that used to play there every now and then. Mind you, I'm not much for country music, but was there for support. I guess back in its heyday, it was quite the hoppin' place.

Y'know, I hadn't thought about the increase of vertical compositions, but now that I'm looking at my recent posts, I guess I have. huh.

I had such a hard time with this image. I tried many different crops, but kept going back to this one. I love the light on the building and tones in contrast to the sky.
